Arenas
The Parks & Recreation Department operates both the Centennial Arena and the Meridian Credit Union Arena located in the Centennial Sportspark at 1565/1567 Four Mile Creek Road.  Ice is available from early September to the end of March.  Arena floors are available for rent during the summer months for such activities as shows, dances, and ball hockey.  A complete schedule of arena programs can be found in the Community Awareness Guide.

Court House
The historic Court House on Queen Street, which was constructed in the 1850s, is available for rent from mid-October to mid-March.  Two halls, the Grand Hall, and the John Drope Hall are ideal for weddings, receptions, and meetings.  For rates and booking arrangements, contact Luanne Kulchar at the Parks & Recreation Office at 905-468-4261.

Pools
Niagara Pool: 905-468-2804 (seasonal)

Wading Pool: Simcoe Park; available from mid-June to September

The Niagara Pool will open for limited adult and public swimming sessions beginning Monday, June 16. Regular pool schedules begin at both pools (Niagara and St. Davids) on Saturday, June 28, 2014 through Labour Day weekend.  Registration for lessons can be made in person or by mail at the Recreation Office prior to Friday, June 13, at the Centennial Arena office between the hours of 8:30 am - 12 noon & 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm.   Both pools offer group, private and semi private swimming lessons as well as a children's competitive swim team (Electrifying Eels). For pool rental, please call either Niagara Pool (after June 16) or St. Davids Pool  (after June 28)  for availability during open hours.  Pre-season Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross classes will be held June 13-15 & 20-22 (1 session only).  Please note:  Phones will not be answered during swimming lesson times.

Season passes are purchased directly from the pool(s). We accept cash or cheque only.  For more information on pool programs and open hours, please consult your Community Awareness Guide.

Queen's Royal Park Gazebo
The Gazebo at Queen's Royal Park can be reserved for weddings.  It holds 12 people. To reserve, call the Recreation Office at 905-468-4261.

Queenston Library
Located at 32 Queenston Street in the Village of Queenston, the Queenston Library/Community Centre operates a public library Tuesday afternoons.  Browse through our collection of Canadiana and current Bestsellers.  For information, call 905-262-5173 during library hours.  The Queenston Library can also be rented for meetings and small informal gatherings.  Please call the Parks and Recreation Office for rates and availability at 905-468-4261.

Splash Pad & Pavilion
A fully accessible Splash Pad complete with pavilion and washrooms is located at the Virgil Sportspark next to the soccer fields.  The splash pad operates on an automated water system and is open from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm daily.

Sports Fields
Soccer Fields:
The Parks & Recreation Department maintains four soccer fields at Memorial Park (2 regulation size and 2 mini fields), one soccer field at Rye Heritage Park, and four mini fields at the Sportspark in Virgil.
Ball Diamonds:
Three lit ball diamonds are located at the Centennial Sportspark in Virgil and one lit ball diamond is located at Memorial Park on King Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake.  These diamonds can be reserved on a seasonal or spot booking basis.

Tennis Courts
The Recreation Department maintains tennis courts at the following locations: Memorial Park, Rye Heritage Park, Garrison Village Green Park, St. Davids Lions Park, and Virgil Centennial Park.  All asphalt courts are available at no charge.  The omnicourt surfaced courts are available by either hourly rental fees or annual membership.  For additional membership information, visit the NOTL Tennis Association's website at niagaratennisclub.com.
