Recruitment for Volunteer Firefighters Find out how you can serve your community as a respected and highly trained professional Volunteer Firefighter. Applicants will be required to be residents of the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and will be required to meet minimum fitness and medical requirements. Successful applicants will also be required to attend and complete a recruit training program, prior to being appointed as a Volunteer Firefighter.
